Louisiana Restaurant Destroyed by Fire Friday

A Louisiana restaurant was destroyed by fire Friday afternoon.

Firefighters responded to a fire at El Carnaval Mexican Restaurant on West Georgia Street around 2:55 p.m. Friday.

Witnesses reported a lot of smoke initially, with flames coming from the west side of the building.

Firefighters from Buffalo Township, Pleasant Hill and Spring Creek assisted Louisiana in battling the blaze.

The building was destroyed. There were no injuries.
