A report of an order of protection violation results in a burglary arrest in LaBelle.
Lewis County Sheriff’s deputies were called to an address in LaBelle Sunday where they took 44 year old Steven Clay into custody. Upon investigation… it was found that Clay entered the residence unlawfully. That resulted in the burglary arrest. Deputies say Clay was under supervision of the Missouri Department of Probation and Parole following felony convictions in Lewis County. Clay had entered a guilty plea January 6th to a property damage charge at the same residence. He was given a six month suspended sentence. Clay was taken to the Lewis County Jail pending a court appearance.
