A LaGrange man is in the Adams County Jail on child endangerment and meth related charges.
According to Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish, LaGrange Police learned Friday that a two year old child had been taken to Blessing Hospital in Quincy with severe injuries.
An investigation by multiple law enforcement agencies resulted in the search of a residence in LaGrange. Items related to the endangering of a child and controlled substances were found in the residence. As a result, a warrant was issued for 34 year old Marcus Mays.
Mays was taken into custody Friday in Quincy. He is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and possession of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $100,000 cash only.
