Louisiana authorities say a drug dog led them to a narcotics arrest.

51-year-old Shaun Ross is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. He was arrested after a traffic stop Tuesday along Georgia Street on the west side of Louisiana.
A police dog allegedly alerted an officer to the presence of drugs. Authorities reported finding meth and marijuana in the sports utility vehicle.   Ross already faces a felony domestic assault charge in an incident that allegedly took place in July. An arraignment in that case is set for December 18th.
A court appearance on the drug charge had not been scheduled.
