Search Follows Truck Theft in Quincy

Missouri State Highway Patrol aircraft and a K-9 unit helped in a search Tuesday night.

Troopers were called following a truck theft in Quincy.  Quincy Police say a stolen tractor trailer rig was involved in two accidents before crossing into Missouri. The Highway Patrol was called to assist around 7:15 p-m. The rig was found abandoned near Old Highway 61 and Lewis County Route V. The driver fled on foot and remains at large.
