John Wood Community College’s LPN Program Among Illinois’ Best

John Wood Community College’s Licensed Practical Nursing Program is among the top ten LPN programs in the state.

The website practical nursing dot org ranks the programs offered by 43 Illinois community colleges. John Wood comes in at number nine.

The major factor in the top ten ranking for JWCC is the nearly 98 percent pass rate for the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nursing, a nationwide nursing proficiency exam.

John Wood’s LPN program has graduated 84 students since 2010, along with 107 students who earned associate degrees in nursing.
