What Used to Be a Missouri Gym is Now a New Grocery Store

I was once told that the only constant is change. It's an odd concept, but has proven true yet again as what used to be a Missouri gym now appears to be a new grocery store location in the St. Louis area.

I saw this new grocery option in Maryland Heights, Missouri mentioned by Supermarket News. The exact address is 12632 Dorsett Road in Maryland Heights which according to Google Maps Street View used to be a Golds Gym a few years ago..

As of this past Thursday, 12632 Dorsett Road in Maryland Heights, Missouri became a new location for Aldi's. That's just one of many new Aldi locations opening in 2024 including another one coming to St. Robert, Missouri with a grand opening planned for March 14, 2024. It appears this will be a new store that's been under construction as the Google Street view at the St. Robert, Missouri address shows an open lot not that long ago.

The current Aldi new store locations page shows new grocery stores in at least 13 different states over the next month or two. That's quite a growth spurt for a grocery store that already has a big presence in both Missouri and Illinois.
