Investigation Into Sunday Fire Leads to Arrest of Hannibal Man

An investigation into a structure fire Sunday leads to the arrest of a Hannibal man.

Hannibal Police and Fire personnel were called to a fire in the 1200 block of Center Sunday afternoon.

An investigation determined that the fire had been intentionally set.

As a result, 38 year old Robert Karlinsky of Hannibal was taken into custody early Monday morning.

A warrant was issued by the Circuit Court of Marion County Associate Division, charging Karlinsky with first degree arson.

Karlinsky is lodged in the Marion County Jail on $100,000 cash bond.

No one was hurt in the fire.
