Hurdland Girl Killed in ATV Crash

An ATV crash early Saturday morning in Knox County claims the life of a Hurdland girl.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says an ATV operated by 31 year old Brandon Reed of Kirksville was climbing a hill on private property just south of Knox City at 4 a-m Saturday when it hit a tree. A passenger—11 year old Maryjane Shey of Hurdland was thrown from the ATV and was taken to Northeast Regional Hospital in Kirksville. Shey was pronounced dead following the crash
