Home Invasion Case of Liberty Man to Proceed

The case of a Liberty man charged with home invasion will move forward.

In a preliminary hearing Tuesday, Adams County Circuit Judge Debra Wellborn ruled that there was probable cause for the case of 52 year old John Martineau to proceed.

Martineau was arrested April 18th by Adams County Sheriff’s deputies and charged with home invasion with a dangerous weapon and home invasion with a firearm.

Arraignment for Martineau is set for May 23rd. He remains in the Adams County Jail on $250,000 bond.
