Heavy rains in the area overnight results in flash flood warnings issued through mid-morning Wednesday.

The Hannibal Filter Plant recorded 2.45 inches of rain through 5 a.m. Friday. The storms moved out of the area this morning, and the last of the flash flood warnings expired at 10:30 a.m.

There are flood warnings for the North River at Palmyra, and the North Fabius and Middle Fabius Rivers near Ewing due to all the rain.

MODOT reports Missouri 16 in Lewis County and Missouri 156 in Knox County are closed because of high water.
