A hearing is continued to January 15th for a Bowling Green man who police say had to be shocked three times with a stun gun during a fight with two officers.

Austin Greenfield is charged with felony assault of a law enforcement officer and felony resisting arrest.

Police say they were called to Walmart in Bowling Green on November 17th of 2013 to investigate a shoplifting complaint.

Officers reported finding Greenfield had an outstanding juvenile warrant for burglary in Iowa. Police say the suspect became combative when they tried to arrest him.    After a struggle, one of the officers reported using a stun gun three times to bring Greenfield under control. The officer accused the suspect of continuing to thrash around even after being handcuffed and put in a squad car.
