Hannibal Woman Held Following Early Morning Assault

An assault report early Wednesday morning in Hannibal leads to one arrest.
Hannibal Police were called to the 1700 block of Vermont at 2:28 a-m where officers located a 30 year old female who said she was assaulted with a knife by 40 year old Krystal Cloyd of Hannibal. The victim was taken to a hospital by Marion County Ambulance for treatment. Cloyd was located and taken into custody.
A warrant was issued Wednesday charging Cloyd with assault in the first degree… armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. Bond was set for 100-thousand dollars cash only.
