Hannibal Woman Dies of Injuries Sustained in Lewis CO Crash

A two vehicle crash Sunday afternoon on Missouri 6 west of Lewistown claims the life of a Hannibal woman.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says 18-year-old Miranda Martin died Monday morning of injuries sustained in the crash. Martin was a passenger in a car driven by 23-year-old Kevin Johnston of New London when he attempted to pass another vehicle and collided with an oncoming car.

This is the 8th fatality in the Missouri State Highway Patrol's Troop B region for 2014.
