Hannibal School Superintendent Job Drawing Interest

Hannibal’s school superintendent job is drawing interest. Dr. Brent Underwood of the Missouri School Board Association told Hannibal Board of Education members that around a dozen candidates have already applied for the job.

The application deadline is January 7. Dr. Jill Janes is retiring at the end of the school year. The Hannibal School Board also approved the purchase of three new school buses for around 275 thousand dollars.
