Enrollment in the Hannibal Public Schools is up from a year ago.

At the most recent meeting of the Hannibal School Board, members learned that enrollment as of September 1st stood at 3,614. That’s an increase of 76 students from last year.

This year’s figure is the second highest Hannibal enrollment in the last ten years, about ten students less than the 2016-17 school year.

Superintendent Susan Johnson told the board that kindergarten enrollment is up by 39 students from last year. Middle school enrollment is up by about 50.
