Hannibal Regional Auxiliary Volunteer of Year

A long time Hannibal Regional Hospital Auxiliary member is the 2017 Volunteer Of The Year.
Hospital CEO Todd Ahrens made the announcement at Monday’s annual Service Awards Luncheon naming Sharon Laster as this year's honoree.
Laster has served over four thousand hours in a variety of ways,  mostlty with the sewing and puppet committee. In addition to her volunteer work with the Hannibal Regional Auxiliary, Laster has also volunteered in schools to assist students with reading and is a member of a local quilting club that makes quilts for Shriners, a battered women’s shelter and other local groups. The Auxiliary has over 260 members. They donate around 25 thousand hours of service each year.
