A dozen years and over 62-hundred hours of service adds up to Volunteer of the Year honors for Marcia Freeman of the Hannibal Regional Auxiliary.

Freeman is a retired educator and has also been involved with Special Olympics.  The announcement came at Monday’s annual service awards luncheon at the Hannibal Country Club.  Outstanding new member awards for this year go to Joann Raney and Edna Church. An award for outstanding contribution to a new program goes to Bette Durbin for her work with the Hannibal Free Clinic.

Other presentations during Monday’s annual service awards luncheon include honorary memberships to Marie Allen, Bob Yount, Cathy Weinhoff and Yvonne Cassidy. Special recognition goes to Cathy Bieniek, Pam Grebe, Judy Lewenczuk, Charlie Mann, Jim Mitchell, Beth Taylor, Kay Latta and Connie Roberts.
