The Hannibal Regional Auxiliary officially fulfilled its fundraising promise to the James E. Cary Cancer Center Monday.

The auxiliary presented a check for $165,000 to Hannibal Regional Monday, making the final payment on a $500,000 pledge the auxiliary made to help pay for the cancer center’s new linear accelerator.

According to Hannibal Regional Director of Volunteer Services Alicia Rollins, other projects funding by the auxiliary include scholarships for Hannibal Regional team members, coloring books, puppets, the Wish List program and much more.
