A volunteer in her 12th year of service to the Hannibal Regional Auxiliary is their 2018 Volunteer of The Year.
Jana Suchland started her volunteer efforts with the Auxiliary in 2006 after a 30 year career as a teacher at Pettibone Elementary School in Hannibal. Suchland says that after an early retirement "I felt a need to give back to the community. I needed to do something and my friend mentioned the Auxiliary. "

Suchland also drives for Meals on Wheels and is a long time member of Hannibal Business and Professional Women.

Also honored at the Auxiliary’s annual service awards luncheon is Loretta Bringer. She is a new recipient of the President’s Call To Service award from the White House. Bringer has been a member of the Auxiliary for over a decade and has more than four thousand hours of service.
