A call to assist EMS crews Monday in the Steamboat Bend Shopping Center results in two drug arrests.

EMS crews were called regarding an unconscious male in a vehicle. After being cleared by EMS crews, the man was identified as 19-year-old Noah Ratliff of New London. A search of Ratliff and the vehicle yielded drug paraphernalia and a large amount of what is believed to be methamphetamine. Ratliff was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and manufacturing a controlled substance.  The investigation also led to the arrest of 35-year-old Britton Friday of Hannibal in connection to the meth located in the vehicle. Ratliff and Friday were taken to the Marion County Jail on a 24-hour hold.
