Hannibal Police Release Statement on Body Found on Mark Twain Avenue
At 07:30 a.m. Wednesday (March 13) morning, Officers of the Hannibal Police Department were called to a report of a man down in the 600 blk of Mark Twain Ave.
Upon their arrival they discovered 63 year old Howard E. Miller, of Hannibal, deceased in the parking lot of a hotel. Hannibal Police Department Detectives began an investigation and an autopsy was scheduled for Thursday (03/14) morning in Columbia, MO.
At this time the preliminary findings do not indicate foul play. A cause of death will not be determined until lab results and toxicology testing is concluded, which may take several weeks. Further information will be released when appropriate.
