Hannibal Police Arrest One in Graffiti Investigation
A Hannibal man faces felony property damage charges following an investigation into graffiti complaints.
Hannibal Police arrested 32 year old Cory Cyr Monday. Charges against Cyr stem from complaints of spray painted graffiti throughout Hannibal consisting of ‘Beast’… ETS… and similar markings. The arrest covers 15 incidents with numerous victims including the City of Hannibal Street and Parks Departments… MODOT… Hannibal Board of Public Works and several private properties. Cyr was taken to the Marion County Jail on a 24 hour hold pending prosecutor review. Cyr was also arrested on an outstanding municipal warrant for failure to comply with court orders. Police say the investigation into graffiti is ongoing.
