Hannibal Park Avenue Shooting Investigation Continues

Hannibal Police continue to follow up on a November 20th shooting on Park Avenue.

Officers say that based on information gathered thus far, this appears to be an isolated incident. Several leads are being followed. Police say information on substantial developments will be released when appropriate. Officers were called to the 1700 block of Park Avenue around 10:45 p-m on November 20th. Officers arrived to find a 29 year old Hannibal man with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Police say the victim was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital and then transferred to a hospital in Columbia for treatment.
