Hannibal Men Charged in Sunday Home Invasion

Two Hannibal men have been charged in connection with a home invasion over the weekend.

Warrants were issued Monday by the Tenth Judicial Circuit Court of Marion County, charging 18 year old Ethan Williams and 24 year old Christopher Minks with third degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon.

Williams and Minks were taken into custody Sunday when officers responded to a report of a robbery. The female victim told authorities that two males had forced their way into her residence, threatened her with baseball bats, assaulted her and took money from the residence.

The victim suffered minor injuries and did not require medical attention.

Williams and Minks are in the Marion County Jail on $25,000 bond each.
