Hannibal Man Arrested on Sexual Abuse Charges

A complaint of possible sexual abuse of a child leads to the arrest of a Hannibal man.
Information received Saturday led to an investigation by Hannibal Police with assistance from the Marion County Children’s Division. Police say 43 year old Michael Stone was arrested without incident as a result of the investigation and placed on a 24 hour hold at the Marion County Jail. A warrant issued in Marion County Circuit Court charges Stone with sexual abuse in the first degree. Bond for Stone is set at 100-thousand dollars cash only. Stone remains in the Marion County Jail.
