A Hannibal man was arrested Monday on a municipal warrant, with possible drug charges pending.

Hannibal Police report that an ACES unit officer made contact with two individuals in a car in the St. Charles and Darr Street area just after 10 a.m. Monday.

As a result, the driver of the car, 39 year old Brian Stolte, was taken into custody on a municipal warrant.

The officer found drug paraphernalia in the car, along with a substance believed to be methamphetamine.

Along with the warrant, Stolte was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Stolte posted bond on the warrant and was released pending the issuing of warrants on the drug charges.
