A Hannibal man faces methamphetamine charges after authorities say he delivered meth to an undercover agent.

West Central Illinois Task Force agents say 21 year old Jared Newton of Hannibal was arrested Monday afternoon in the 1300 block of Broadway in Quincy. Newton is charged with unlawful delivery of meth and meth trafficking. Newton is also charged with aggravated unlawful participation in meth production after Task Force agents seized a shake and bake meth lab at 704 Washington in Quincy on January 6th. Investigation of that meth lab continues and arrests are pending. Adams County Sheriff’s deputies and Quincy Police assisted in the investigation.
