Hannibal Man Arrested for Kinderhook Burglary
A Hannibal man is in the Pike County, Illinois Jail on burglary charges.
According to Pike County Sheriff Paul Petty, deputies responded to a break in at a residence in Kinderhook at 7:12 p.m. Tuesday.
They arrived to find a minivan leaving the residence. A deputy gave chase and was rammed by the van.
Deputies took 18 year old Courvaria Rodgers into custody for residential burglary and criminal damage to property. Rodgers is alleged to have badly damaged two doors to get into the home.
Reports indicate Rodgers’ ex-girlfriend lives in the residence.
