
Hannibal Man Arrested Following Quincy Shooting
A Hannibal man is in custody following a Tuesday afternoon shooting in the 5th and Cherry area in Quincy.
Quincy Police say 18-year-old Lelen Bonds of Hannibal was arrested Tuesday night on charges of aggravated battery with a firearm and for an outstanding Missouri warrant for a probation violation on burglary charges.
The 18-year-old male victim was taken by ambulance to Blessing Hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to the leg. Police say the incident was not a random act.
Police reports indicate the shooter was in a gold colored car similar to a Toyota or Lexus that fled the scene.
