Hannibal Burglary Arrest

A Hannibal man is recovering from injuries and facing charges after allegedly breaking into a home on Fairway drive Friday. 

Hannibal Police arrived to find that 41-year-old Christopher J.M. White of Hannibal had entered a residence and assaulted another male as he slept. Police say the victim defended himself causing White to receive cuts to his face that required medical attention. The victim was uninjured.

Police say White left the area in a vehicle and was stopped a short distance from the house. White is charged with first degree burglary and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

White was taken to the Marion County Jail on a 24 hour hold.
