Hancock County Ambulance Director Arrested on Theft Charges
An investigation by the Illinois State Police results in the arrest of the former director of the Hancock County Ambulance over the weekend.
37-year-old Paul Richardson was arrested Saturday and charged with theft from a government agency and official misconduct. Hancock County Sheriff Scott Bentzinger says discrepancies in the agency were brought to his attention and he turned the information over to the state police.
Richardson has been the director of the ambulance department since 2012. His next court date is September 24 in Hancock County Circuit Court.
