Rainfall totals and storm damage reports are coming in from around northeast Missouri and western Illinois following the stormy weather last night and early this morning.

National Weather Service observers report rainfall totals from 4.6 inches in Palmyra to 4.51 inches in Edina and 4.2 inches of rain in Shelbyville. Three inches of rain fell in Hannibal, with 3.25 inches recorded at Lock and Dam 21 at Quincy.

There were numerous reports of downed and uprooted trees, mostly in the Hurdland and Edina areas in Knox County.

Large hail was reported in LaBelle in Lewis County and Griggsville in Pike County.

Winds from 60 to 70 miles per hour were reported in Knox, Lewis, Adams and Brown counties.
