Four Hurt, Two Seriously, in Pike County Crash

Four Vandalia residents are hurt, two seriously, in a single vehicle crash on Highway 54 east of Curryville at 11:45 p.m. Monday.

The Highway Patrol reports 47 year old Dennis Jordan was westbound when his SUV ran off the road and overturned.

Jordan and a passenger, 43 year old Marietta Martin, suffered serious injuries. Jordan is taken by Air Evac to Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Martin is Air Evac’d to University Hospital in Columbia. Two other passengers, 22 year old Cariban Martin and six year old Zeamarian Martin were taken to University Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
