Four people are hurt in two separate traffic crashes in northeast Missouri over the weekend.

Two are hurt in a motorcycle crash on Highway 79 east of New London at 3:49 p.m. Saturday.

The Highway Patrol reports 40 year old Justin Swank of New London was southbound when his bike struck loose gravel. Swank lost control of the motorcycle and struck a ditch.

Swank and his passenger, 25 year old Micaela Seymour of Hannibal, were taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment.

Seymour suffered minor injuries. Swank’s injuries were described as moderate.

 

Two Kahoka men are hurt in a single vehicle crash on Clark County Route K north of Luray at 3 p.m. Friday.

The Highway Patrol reports 56 year old Kent Hunziker was southbound when he lost control of his pickup. The truck ran off the road and overturned.

Hunziker and his passenger, 32 year old Glenn House, were taken to Blessing Hospital in Quincy for treatment.

Hunziker suffered moderate injuries. House’s injuries were described as minor.
