On Wednesday (1/15, 2014) night, Detectives assigned to the Hannibal Police Department Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the 2500 block of Hope St. During the course of the search officers found what is believed to be an active meth lab, two inactive one pot labs, meth making materials, marijuana and paraphernalia. Four Hannibal men were arrested during the search. Those arrested are:

  • Donald E. Freeman (36 yrs old) was arrested for a felony parole warrant, a misdemeanor Marion County contempt of court warrant, (2) municipal fail to appear warrants and Manufacturing a Controlled Substance.
  • Michael A. King (25 yrs old) was arrested for a felony probation violation warrant and Manufacturing a Controlled Substance.
  • Michael D Goebel (51 yrs old) was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
  • Ronald J Burks (44 yrs old) was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Goebel and Burks were questioned and released pending warrants. King and Freeman remain in the Marion County Jail on the existing probation / parole warrants. Manufacturing a Controlled Substance warrants, on Freeman and King, are pending prosecutor review.
