Pike County in northeastern Missouri...

* Until 745 PM CDT.

* At 149 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain has
already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Bowling Green, Vandalia, Louisiana, New London, Perry, Laddonia,
Center, Frankford, Farber, Curryville, Spaulding, Tarrants,
Spencerburg, New Hartford, St. Clement, The Landing, Cyrene, Ashley
and Ashburn.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the
warned area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
