A traffic stop late Monday night in Shelbina results in several charges for a Kansas City area man.
Shelbina Police say on their Facebook page that an officer observed a vehicle come to a stop as it approached a patrol car on North Center street…impeding the flow of traffic. An officer performed a traffic stop and noticed an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search turned up 27 grams of cocaine and other suspicious substances… drug paraphernalia and over 84-hundred dollars in cash. Police say the driver—19 year old Sky Young was taken to the Shelby County Jail pending a warrant for distribution of a controlled substance and other drug related charges.
