Deer Blamed for Motorcycle Crash in Quincy

A Quincy man sustains serious injuries after his cycle strikes a deer early this morning.

Adams County Deputies report 24 year-old Adam Fox was riding his Kawasaki on Ellington Road west of Cannonball Road near Quincy.  His cycle struck a deer in the roadway just after 4:30 a.m.  Fox was thrown from the bike.

Deputies say Fox was not wearing a helmet.  He was taken to Blessing Hospital by ambulance.

Fox was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident
