Four are injured, two seriously, and five are ticketed as the result of four separate traffic crashes in northeast Missouri and western Illinois over the weekend.

Two men are hurt and one is ticketed as the result of a one car crash on Silvers Lane southeast of Hannibal in Ralls County at 12:40 a.m. Saturday.

The Highway Patrol reports 31 year old Patrick Allen of Hannibal was eastbound when his car ran off the road and struck a tree.

Allen and his passenger, 37 year old Tyson Hubbard of Perry, were taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment. Hubbard suffered serious injuries. Allen’s injuries were described as moderate.

Allen was also ticketed for DWI, possession of a controlled substance-cocaine, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway and no insurance.

 

A Kahoka woman is seriously injured and a Burlington, Iowa man is ticketed as the result of an ATV crash on Clark County Road 323 west of Alexandria at 12:37 a.m. Sunday.

The Highway Patrol reports 25 year old Austin Shipley of Burlington was westbound when his ATV ran off the road and overturned.

Shipley’s passenger, 24 year old Jessica Dalton of Kahoka, was taken to Blessing Hospital in Quincy for treatment of serious injuries.

Shipley was ticketed for DWI and no seat belt.

 

One driver is hurt and both drivers are ticketed in a two vehicle crash at 10th and Monroe in Quincy at 12:12 p.m. Sunday.

Quincy Police report 27 year old Christopher Smith of Quincy was eastbound on a motorized bicycle on Monroe Street, failed to stop at the stop sign and struck a southbound car, driven by 21 year old Nathanial Miller, also of Quincy.

Smith was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries and was ticketed for disobeying a stop sign. Miller was cited for no valid drivers’ license.

 

A Payson woman is not hurt but is ticketed in a single vehicle crash on Highway 57 in Marblehead at 1:23 a.m. Sunday.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office reports 26 year old Gretchen Maple of Payson was southbound when she fell asleep at the wheel, causing her pickup to run off the road and strike a guardrail.

Maple was not hurt, but she was ticketed for improper lane usage.
