Cunningham Found Guilty of Assault

A Hannibal man was found guilty Tuesday of assault charges in connection with an incident at his place of employment last May.

A Marion County jury found 38 year old Jason Cunningham guilty of fourth-degree assault. He had originally been charged with third-degree assault.

Cunningham is alleged to have attacked the manager of the Dairy Queen on McMasters Avenue after a disagreement between the two.

Sentencing for Jason Cunningham will be held at a later date.
