Guilty Verdict in Quincy Stabbing Case

An Adams County jury returns a guilty verdict against a Quincy man accused of attempted first degree murder and aggravated domestic battery.
Jurors found Dwayne Brandon guilty of the charges after 15 minutes of deliberation. During the two day trial… the Adams County State’s Attorney’s office presented evidence from Quincy Police and video testimony from the stabbing victim. Tiwana Norris described how Brandon stabbed her with a knife in the back of her neck and shoulder. Sentencing is March 18th. Brandon faces a maximum of 30 years in prison.
