Crash on US 61 in Lincoln County Claims One Life

A crash involving a car and a semi on US 61 at Lincoln County Route B injures a Nebo man and claims one life.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a car driven by 30 year old Jared Yasenko of Nebo attempted a U turn on 61 shortly before 7:30 Thursday evening when it was hit by a semi operated by a North Mankato Minnesota man. Jared Yasenko sustained moderate injuries and was taken by air evac to St. John’s Mercy Hospital in St.
Louis. A passenger—32 year old John Yasenko of Lakewood Colorado died of injuries sustained in the crash. Another passenger—25 year old Jessica Yasenko of Syracuse Utah was taken to a hospital at Lake St. Louis for treatment of serious injuries.
