After a warm and rainy weekend, the last full week of April is expected to be a cooler and breezier one in northeast Missouri and western Illinois.

National Weather Service forecasters say Monday and Tuesday will see sunshine with northwesterly breezes. The warmest day of the week is Tuesday, when a high of 66 is predicted. Otherwise, highs for the week will range from the upper 50s to low 60s.

There will be slight chances of showers Tuesday night and Wednesday, with showers and thunderstorms in the forecast Friday through Sunday. The best chance of rain is Friday night and Saturday.

Low temperatures for the week will be downright cool, ranging from the upper 30s to low 40s.
