(MACON)—Missouri Highway Patrol troopers plan a Click it or Ticket seat belt enforcement campaign in Marion County later this month. Troop B commanding officer Captain James Wilt says the enforcement operation is part of a nationwide campaign focusing on seat belt violations.

Troopers say there will be a zero tolerance enforcement stance. Drivers and front seat occupants are required to wear seat belts or be in a properly restrained child safety seat. All vehicle occupants under 16 are also to be belted or in a proper child safety seat.
