Pushed to the boiling point by their employer, three female co-workers concoct a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot they call their boss. They conspire to take control of their company and learn there’s nothing they can’t do—even in a man’s world. Set in the late 1970s, '9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL' is a hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era. Outrageous, thought-provoking, and even a little romantic, '9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL' is about teaming up and taking care of business—woman style!

'9 TO 5' runs July 11-14 & 18-21. Auditionees are asked to prepare 16 measures from a song of their choice. A piano accompanist will be available, so please bring sheet music if necessary. All genres of music are welcome.

In addition to the excellent leading and supporting roles for men and women, the theatre is looking for six strong male singers/dancers for the ensemble to perform in the large dance numbers. For a full character breakdown, visit 1qct.org.

Those auditioning should also familiarize themselves with the script, available on the QCT website under “Members and Volunteers.” A password is required for access.

All roles are available and all are welcome to audition, regardless of experience. To schedule an audition or for password information, contact the box office at (217) 222-3209.
