Three Quincy residents were arrested late Sunday night after a raid by
members of the West Central Illinois Task Force, Quincy Police Department,
and the Adams County Sheriffs Office.

Larry A. Maggart, age 38 and April M. Baker, age 33, both of 921 N. 11th,
and Robert M. Miller, age 51 or 315 Lind were all arrested on
methamphetamine related charges after the Task Force raided the North 11th
Street address at 10:00 p.m. Sunday.

Maggart, and Baker, were arrested on charges of Aggravated Participation
in Methamphetamine Production, Unlawful Use of Property, and
Methamphetamine Related child Endangerment. Miller was arrested on
Aggravated Participation in Methamphetamine Production and Unlawful
Possession of Methamphetamine. All three are lodged in the Adams County
Jail on the class X offense.

Two children that were present in the residence were turned over to a
family member. Agents reported the incident to the Department of Children
and Family Services and an investigation will be initiated into their
welfare.

Illinois State Police Master Sergeant Patrick Frazier reported that agents
seized a shake and bake methamphetamine lab, processed methamphetamine,
numerous components used in the meth manufacturing process, cannabis, and
drug paraphernalia. The investigation is on going, and additional arrests
are possible.

The Illinois State Police Meth Response Team was utilized in disposing of
the hazardous chemicals associated with the lab.

All subjects are presumed innocnet until proven guilty in a court of law.
