A Quincy man charged following the deaths of his two children in a house fire pleads guilty to child endangerment.
William Brewer entered the plea Tuesday in Adams County Circuit Court. Brewer was sentenced to five years with the Illinois Department of Corrections. Involuntary manslaughter charges were dropped.  Brewer and Marylin Kramer were charged following an October 12th fire at 611 North 8th that claimed the lives of 8 year old Toby Brewer and 5 year old Emma Kramer. Marilyn Kramer previously pleaded guilty to
one count of endangering the life of a child. She also received a five year prison sentence.
