Charges in Hannibal Shooting
A Hannibal man is formally charged in Marion County with unlawful use of a weapon and animal abuse following a shooting incident.
Marion County Prosecutor David Clayton says Seth Emerson faces the charges after he allegedly shot a dog and his brother. Clayton says Emerson was allegedly intoxicated at the time. In Missouri it is illegal for a person to fire a gun while intoxicated. The dog is recovering. Emerson’s brother was treated and released for his injuries. Seth Emerson faces up to four years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
