Brothers to Stand Trial on Assault Charges

Two Quincy brothers pleaded not guilty to battery charges in Adams County Circuit Court Wednesday.

26-year-old Dillon Wexell and 24-year-old Shiloh Sparks are charged with aggravated battery causing great bodily harm.

The two are alleged to have beaten a man that was living with the brothers in an apartment in the 100 block of North 6th last December.

Wexell and Sparks are set to stand trial in March.
